69 Bar
Founded 1983, The 69th Street Bar or "69 Bar" is one of the most popular Bar Clubs in downtown, it is open between 6.00 PM and 5.00 AM, it has a full stocked bar and kitchen, inluding a dancefloor, a DJ and NZSN playing on the television.
Expansion[]
in 2002 the bar had expanded in size, they extended out the dance floor and lounge.
Trivia[]
- The bar was built into an old town tower that sat there for 70 years, the walls and windows still remain in the same design and area, but multiple things have been changed
- The bar has almost always played Electronia and House music, with a mix of Rock and Pop.
- The 69 Bar is a tourist destination
